Elijah is 6

Oh my goodness my little boy is 6, how can that be. Well he has had a fantastic day. Some Presents before school, sweets for his friends at school, trip to the park to try out his new Avengers Assembles Sky Rocketz (which is surprisingly really good). Then pizza for dinner. Then he got his main present for us and his gift from Sarah and Jared. Ours was an X-Box which we got a really good deal on eBay and Sarah and Jared's was the lego Avengers game. This resulted in one very excited little boy.
But this was just the beginning. He also got a complete child size golf set, a Star Wars bed spread, Star Wars toys and a lot of money for a 6 year old little boy. His bed spread is reversible, heroes on one side and villains on the other. As he was going to bed I asked him which side he wanted on. He said he wanted the heroes as he was so happy. Phoebe said she wouldn't be happy if her birthday was over. To which he replied
"How could I be sad. I've had a great day and got all these amazing presents and I had the best cake ever". Oh man do I love this little boy.

Easter weekend

Sarah and Jared moved about 4 weeks ago to a beautiful house in a village just outside Huntingdon. So we headed over for the long weekend and had a fantastic time. We got there Friday afternoon and had a pretty late night as Sarah and I went food shopping and didn't get back till about 8.30, got to love those sister chats when there are no kids around. So we didn't eat till gone 9pm. Luckily the kids were to busy play to be worried about that.
Saturday Sarah and I set up an egg hunt for them to do in the garden. In the afternoon we went for a walk to a local reservoir which was huge and had stunning views.
Sunday Sarah was ill so she stayed home and we all walked off to church which is at the end of their road. It's a very big ward in a very tiny chapel, but everyone was very welcoming. All my kids went into their primary lessons and I was really happy that Elijah was happy to go into his class on his own. But I could have burst with pride when his teacher came to find me to tell me what a star he was and she would quite happily have 6 of him.
The kids spent Monday morning playing as spence and I got everything ready to go home. There were lots of tears in the car on the way home. I checked with Sarah when I got home if her kids were ok but as she said "Their Quesne" lol. We popped into Costco for dinner on the way home and it was a lovely end to a really fun and lovely weekend.

Alyssa is 3

Oh my goodness where has the time gone my baby is 3 years old. I have such mixed feelings about this at the moment but I am just so happy at the blessing she is to our family. She has brought a smile to my face every day that she has been on this earth. She has gorgeous hair that just falls in ringlets and always has a smile on her face. She loves Mickey Mouse clubhouse and peppa pig. Her nickname is bossy pants and she has this whole house wrapped round her little finger. She is at the age where I wish I could just freeze her in time and keep her like this forever. She is adorable and our family would not be complete with out her. I love this little girl.

Time to catch up. Lets start with Faith

Oh my goodness I can not believe that it has been over a year since I have put anything on this blog. Where to start. Since last September(2012) Faith has had another new teacher (after her teacher had to leave for medical reasons after just 2 weeks of the school year). I don't really think her new teacher is very good as Phoebe had him before and he was a bit rubbish then too, but he is a nice bloke so we just decided to ride the year out there. This September (2013) she has a lovely teacher called Miss Foskett. Faith loves her and is doing so well now, she had some catching up to do after last year.
For her birthday she had her ears pierced. I could not believe how brave she was, she didn't even flinch. But they got infected 6 weeks later and after an hour long screaming fit while I was trying to take them out, they have not gone back in and she has sworn to me that she will NEVER have them pierced again.

She was Bellatrix Le-strange for book week at school and I have to say she looked amazing.

She's had sleepovers at the temple, 2 new baby cousins, friends birthday parties, 2 cousins be baptized, A cousin and 2 friends go on missions, Faith in God activities, learnt to swim, over night school trip to Kingswood as a refugee and a big haircut that looks stunning.Faith and I were also able to have a girly overnight stay at a hotel which was just so much fun. We have never been able to do anything like that before. But I think we will be doing it again as at the moment it's the only thing she has on her birthday list.

She is my big helper and it scares me to thinking she will be 10 in just a few short weeks. I am so proud of the beautiful young women she is becoming. LOVE YOU FAITH

The start of a new adventure

On the evening of the 19th July we all gathered at Julie and Jared's house as Aaron had received a letter and we were all very excited to see what it said.

First day at school

So late again but here it is. We now have 3 children old enough to be in full time school, can we really be that old :o{. Well they all started on the same day and Elijah was the first one to go in his class, they do a staggered start over the first 2 weeks. He loves his new teacher and has a new best friend Liam. It's the first time that I haven't known any of the teachers so I was a little nervous but they all seem lovely. So here is to a great school year.

4 Amazing Women

I just wanted to put in this little post about how lucky I am to be surrounded by some wonderful people in my life. But right now there are 4 AMAZING women who I wanted to say a public thank you for. They are
Sarah Quesne

Katharine Weeden
Julie Grice

and Mandy Chaproniere.

Between them they show me what it means to be brave, courageous, loving, caring, strong, determined, faithful, beautiful and AMAZING women and all for completely different reasons.

I love them all and I know that I am truly blessed to have them in my life.
