Phoebe has been asking me for weeks to have her hair cut. So today I managed to get a last minute appointment and off we went for her first trip to the hairdressers. Before now both girls have had their hair trimmed by Auntie Becky at her house so this was their first time in the CHAIR. (I'm only saying it like that because I have a phobia of hairdressers who have no idea what to do with curly hair)
Before the hair cut
I had no idea how long Phoebe's hair was till she started cutting it and I saw it falling on the floor and then I actually had to look away or I was going to cry. I really wasn't sure about her having it cut in to a bob but it was what she wanted so it's what she got.
Faith on the other hand threatened me that if she cut too much of she was going to be VERY upset and she would not be speaking to me. The lady straightened her hair before cutting it so she came out looking like her hair had grown, not been cut. And of course being a girl she wasn't happy with this either.
Well I LOVE it! It is very cute and actually nearly makes her look old enough for school now....almost.
ReplyDeleteI always have the same problem as Faith, I go in and ask for a dramatic cut and they get too scared and it hardly looks any different.
Straight, curly, long or short, these girls are ALWAYS gorgeous!!!!
TUT - with comments like that Sarah - YOU will soon be named "Favourite Auntie" by Pheebs!!!!
ReplyDeleteI knew her hair would look cute short but with such a winning smile, she could have had it shaved and still look cute!!!!
